Jonathan E. Daniel

Mr. Daniel has more than two decades of financial advisory experience in corporate restructuring, finance and accounting, spanning industry and public practice. Additionally, he has provided bankruptcy consulting to debtors and creditors' committees, including a variety of bankruptcy related services, such as debt restructuring, crisis management services, and post-confirmation trustee assignments.

Mr. Daniel’s experience as a bankruptcy professional includes serving as financial and operational manager for the chapter 11 trustee of approximately 250 gasoline and convenience store outlets, fuel consignment operations, and grocery supply distribution centers. He also served as financial advisor to the chapter 11 trustee for debtors engaged in assembly and wholesale distribution of computer equipment. Mr. Daniel has provided expert witness testimony in bankruptcy and litigation matters such as royalty payments, profit sharing, and expense allocation.

Before joining LainFaulkner, Mr. Daniel served in senior finance and management positions in various industry sectors including health care, real estate investment and development, oil and gas exploration, and construction products. He began his career as an auditor with a national accounting firm.

Mr. Daniel is a Certified Public Accountant with related memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. A member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, he is former president of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of the Turnaround Management Association, and continues to serve as an advisory director to the chapter. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio; and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
