Mr. Enger is an experienced accountant and business advisor with more than 30 years of experience in industry and public practice. His primary role at LainFaulkner has been the development of processes related to bankruptcy compliance, including pre-bankruptcy financial planning, preparation of Statements of Financial Affairs and Debtor's Schedules, operating reports, liquidation analysis, projections and historical financial statements. Additionally, Mr. Enger has served as Plan Trustee or Distribution Agent in several bankruptcy cases, overseeing the claims resolution process and negotiating settlements with creditors to maximize overall recovery to claimants.
Mr. Enger also consults on tax and financial reporting
matters. He manages the planning, preparation and review of federal
and state income
tax returns, claims for income tax refunds both in bankruptcy and
non-bankruptcy matters, and specialized analysis and tax research.
In addition, Mr.
Enger is highly effective in settling tax claims with the IRS, state
and local taxing authorities. Outside of public accounting, Mr. Enger
is knowledgeable on matters related to the oil and gas industry.
Mr. Enger is a Certified Public Accountant with related memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
